Wolf

Benjamin completed his first year of Cub Scouts last week. He has graduated from tiger to wolf.  While I miss having our nights to ourselves rather than running kids in every direction, I'm glad this is something Ben likes.  He is doing things he normally wouldn't be exposed to like the regatta and pine wood derby (race cars).  They toured the fire station and the old stone house in Lakewood.  They do kick ball, swim parties and camping.  They also reinforce (and get credit for) basic things we do at home every day like set the table, ask dad how his day was at work, chores, helping to keep the house running smoothly etc etc.  I know Ben is already looking forward to starting back in the fall, but I'm glad to have the summer off.
