HE DID IT!!!!!!!!
We have success. Ben finally went poo poo in the potty this afternoon! We "practiced" this morning, but no luck. When we were finishing lunch Ben said he had to go. We went upstairs and he freaked out a little when I tried to take off his diaper, but he got over it and sat down. About 30 long minutes later, he did it. For the first time ever, our boy used the big boy potty! Jon is home today so we both did the poo poo in the potty dance and Ben looked at us like we were crazy. I think he was more excited about the game boy he was playing than anything else! I'm hoping he got the connection. For now, we're just going to celebrate!

Yeah! Congrats Ben! We have had some success here too (mostly pee), but it isn't really consistent yet. We're just celebrating the baby steps. Can you believe that our babies are becoming big kids? It's going by so fast. Next thing you know we'll be celebrating Layla and Ben's wedding day (wink wink).

i'd like to see the both of you do the poo poo in the potty dance...maybe you should post a video of it on the blog?
