Our Boonshoft pass finally arrived so the kids and I started to take advantage this morning. For those not familiar with Boonshoft, its a science museum in Dayton that has some phenomenal passes. We got a pass for the Cleveland Zoo and Rainforest, Science Museum and Natural History Museum for less than a pass to just the Zoo. It also gets you in to different museums and zoo's in every state.
We went to the Zoo this morning. For about the first 10 minutes all Ben wanted to do was see a frog. He said he saw one, but he seemed to be the only one. He was happy so we went with it! Next he was all about bears. Every bear we saw was a polar bear. The black bear became a black polar bear, the grizzly bear was a grizzly polar bear and so on. Once he got his polar bear fix, we headed to see the monkeys. Unfortunately, by this time it had already rained a little bit and looked like it was going to start pouring at any minute so we only saw monkey island before heading out. Sam slept through the whole trip. He's been there twice and still hasn't seen 1 animal! It was great being able to go through and take our time. We didn't have to rush to pack it all in and we'll be able to go back any time we want to see as much or as little as we want. I highly recommend the pass. We're off to the Science Center tomorrow with dad.
Just in case you're wondering, yes, I did cut Ben's hair last night. I may have taken a bit too much off his bangs. He doesn't look bad, if you brush them off to the side. When he pulls them down on his forehead, think Jim Carey in Dumb and Dumber! Lets hope his hair grows fast!!

good job on the haircut!
we'll have to take a look at the pass post baby :).
He looks older with the haircut. Such a big boy now!
I can't wait to get one of these passes, although we may wait until after the baby is born. Can't really see the dumb and dumber bangs from the pics- just a little cutie pie.
