Trick or treat

Like last year, we had the DeLong family over on Halloween. We still haven't spent too much time explaining to Ben what Halloween is all about so we kept things simple. Ben put on his favorite Lightening McQueen pj's and his new Lightening McQueen hat and pretended to be Lightening McQueen for the evening. Layla dressed up as a princess and looked stunning.
After dinner, Jon and Lane took Ben and Layla up and down the street while Melissa and I hung out with the babies and passed out candy. Unfortunately, it was a lot colder than last year so we gave up on the last half hour and went inside to warm up (well, as much as you can in our house!). Ben seemed to enjoy himself. He is a master trick or treater and thoroughly enjoyed sampling some of his loot when he got home--so did mom and dad!
